Removable Partial Denture
Replaces several missing teeth and clips onto the ones you still have.
What it is
A partial denture is a removable plate carrying replacement teeth. It fills the gaps where teeth are missing and is held in place by resting against and clasping onto the remaining natural teeth. It is taken out for cleaning and usually at night.
When you might need it
- Several teeth missing in one arch
- Chewing has become difficult
- Remaining teeth are drifting into the gaps
- An implant or bridge is not the right option

Afterwards
A new partial feels bulky at first and speech can take a little practice. Sore spots in the first weeks are normal and are fixed by small adjustments, so it is worth going back rather than living with them.
